NORWAY 2020

The global pandemic meant a lot of cancelled plans. It meant very little was going to be the same.  My long-desired road trip from London to Norway felt unachievable. But, some positives also came about.

I learned how to use Microsoft Teams to communicate with everyone from anywhere I had an internet connection. This meant I could drive from the UK to Oslo and isolate for 10 days whilst still working and then start a road trip around Norway.

It also meant that Norway was virtually empty without tourists. In many of the places I visited, I was the only person there. It gave me a lot of time to myself. To think, to reflect and to be present in the landscape.
